- This aircraft has made a forced landing in a field of rye. If the date on the back of the photograph is
correct (and other similar photos from this source have proven to be accurately dated) then this Albatros
has had an extraordinarily long service life. By 1937 it certainly was not on the active service list of the
Aviation Regiment - it was probably serving with the Latvian Aero Club flight school.
